Roca has formally joined the United Nations Global Compact in 2021, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative made up of more than 12,500 companies based in over 160 countries. By joining the Global Compact, the company commits to supporting, developing and complying with its 10 principles related to the respect of human rights, workers’ rights or the environment, or the fight against corruption, among others.

Joining the Global Compact also implies Roca’s commitment to the participation in cooperative projects that contribute to the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In recent years, the company has incorporated the dissemination of these global objectives to all actions it carries out, both internally and externally. A few examples would be the international design competitions jumpthegap® and One Day Design Challenge, the activities carried out by the We Are Water Foundation and other actions of the brand.
